WRITER, FILMMAKER, SCRIPT EDITOR

Hello!

I’m Kieron, and I’m a writer and editor based in Manchester.

I've had a love for telling stories ever since the poorly drawn comic about a Jedi penguin I regularly published to Freewebs when I was 12 (I’m a better writer now, though my drawing ability has gone down).

More recently... I've directed and independently produced my first feature film, Secrets of a Wallaby Boy, my mid-length film Spectrum had a successful festival run and is now available on Amazon Prime, and I've written comics professionally for Doctor Who Adventures and Campfire Graphic Novels. You can see a portfolio of my fiction writing work, and find out more about the spec scripts I have available for development, here.

In the journalism world, I've been published by STARBURST Magazine and Intellect Books, among others. See my journalism portfolio here.

Aside from writing, my other main skill is working with other writers. In my day job, I work as an editor for theatre publisher Lazy Bee Scripts, and I've been STARBURST's senior editorial assistant, copy editing the magazine to its monthly deadline, on a freelance basis for the past few years. I'm available for freelance copy editing and proofreading – more info here.

I'm always on the lookout for both writing and editing opportunities, so feel free to get in touch.
